Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for appropriately grasping the arrival time of performance degradation of a fuel cell associated with the operation history.SOLUTION: A control unit 20 of a fuel cell system 100 acquires the water balance information including the water increase amount WI, i.e., the moisture increment in a fuel cell 10, and the water decrease amount WD, i.e., the moisture decrement in the fuel cell 10 (step S30). The control unit 20 sequentially acquires the index value of dry ID, indicating the degree of drying trend in the fuel cell 10 while driving, based on the ratio of the water increase amount WI and water decrease amount WD, and acquires a drying history frequency D by integrating the product of the index value of dry ID by the measurement period (step S35). The control unit 20 detects arrival of an occurrence period of rapid performance degradation of the fuel cell, based on the drying history frequency D (step S40), and performs recovery operation arbitrarily (step S60).
