Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a fuel cell system for a vehicle.
SOLUTION: The fuel cell system for the vehicle comprises a modification reactor (4) which generates a hydrogen-rich modified gas, a fuel cell (1) for generating power using the modified gas, and a hydrogen supplier (14) which supplies hydrogen to the fuel cell. It further comprises a predicting means (21) for predicting the travel condition for a vehicle, a calculating means (22) which calculates fuel costs with the modification reactor and with the hydrogen supplier under the predicted travel condition for the vehicle, and a control means (23) which controls the modification reactor and the hydrogen supplier for an optimum fuel cost.
