To provide a fuel cell system that promotes water self-sufficiency and heat self-sufficiency and improves power generation efficiency.
A fuel cell system 10 includes: a fuel cell module 12 that generates power through an electrochemical reaction between fuel gas and oxidant gas; and a condensing device 14 that, through heat exchange between exhaust gas emitted from the fuel cell module 12 and a cooling medium, condenses and collects water vapor in the exhaust gas and supplies the condensed water to the fuel cell module 12. The condensing device 14 has: an air-cooled condenser 44 that uses the oxidant gas as a cooling medium; and a water-cooled condenser 46 that uses hot water stored in a hot water storage tank 18, as the cooling medium. The air-cooled condenser 44 has a thermoelectric conversion section 60 that performs thermoelectric conversion by use of a temperature difference between the exhaust gas and the oxidant gas.
