Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for suppressing noise and power consumption caused by the operation of a radiation fan.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system has a radiator 8 which has a radiation fan for blowing outside air to an air heat exchanger 6 for heat-exchanging hot water with ambient air, and radiates heat of the hot water from a hot water tank 3 at some position of a flow passage for the hot water which extends from the hot water tank 3 to an exhaust gas heat exchanger 2. The radiation fan 7 has stopped until the water temperature at an entrance of the heat exhaust gas heat exchanger 2 which is detected by a detector 11 for the water temperature at the entrance of the heat exchanger 2 increases to a first predetermined temperature (for example, 40°C) or more. When the water temperature at the entrance of the exhaust gas heat exchanger 2 which is detected by the detector 11 for the water temperature at the entrance of the heat exchanger 2 increases to the first temperature (for example, 40°C) or more, the radiation fan 7 performs an air blowing operation under the control of a controller 9. By suppressing the operation of the radiation fan 7 to the required minimum level, noise of the radiation fan 7 around the system can be suppressed, and the power consumption of the radiation fan 7 can be reduced, thereby suppressing reduction of the efficiency of the system.
