Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing the amount of residual water in a purge valve.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 100 which generates power by being supplied with fuel gas and oxidant gas; an anode off-gas flow passage 220 through which anode off-gas discharged from the fuel cell 100 flows; and a purge valve 230 provided on the anode off-gas flow passage 220. The fuel cell system further includes a purge control unit which performs, while the fuel cell 100 generates power, in-operation purge processing for opening the purge valve 230 on the basis of the amount of impurity, and also performs, while the fuel cell 100 stops generating power, stop-purge processing for opening the purge valve 230 for a predetermined time to remove water accumulated in the purge valve 230.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
