Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that can heat raw material gas and a hydrodesulfurization unit by using heat of exhaust gas, and effectively utilizing heat radiation from the hydrodesulfurization unit without increasing the size of an apparatus.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system includes a hydrodesulfurizer 3 for removing sulfur components contained in raw material gas, a reformer 5 for generating reformed gas using raw material gas passing through the hydrodesulfurizer, a fuel battery 7 for generating power by using the reformed gas from the reformer as a fuel, a combustor 8 for burning fuel which is unused in the fuel battery, an exhaust gas path 9 in which exhaust gas generated in the combustor flows, a container 10 which is provided at a part of the exhaust gas path and houses the hydrodesulfurizer, a first raw material gas heating unit 1 which is provided along the outside of the container and heats the raw material by heat of the container before the raw material flows into the container, and a second raw material gas heating unit 2 which is provided at the inside of the container and at the outside of the hydrodesulfurizer and heats the raw material gas by heat of the exhaust gas before the raw material gas flows into the hydrodesulfurizer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
