Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that can reduce the probability of deposition of carbon in a reformer and suppress occurrence of evaporation vibration of water caused by water level variation of an evaporator.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system 100 includes: a reformer 5 that generates hydrogen-containing gas by reforming reaction using fuel and water vapor; an evaporator 4 for evaporating water to generate water vapor to be supplied to the reformer 5; a water level detector 50 for detecting the water level of the evaporator 4; a cathode and an anode; a fuel battery 6 for generating electric power using oxidant gas supplied to the cathode and hydrogen-containing gas supplied from the reformer 5 to the anode; a combustor 7 for generating combustion exhaust gas by burning anode off-gas exhausted from the anode; a heating unit 8 for heating the evaporator 4 by heat of combustion exhaust gas; a heating amount adjuster 9 for adjusting the amount of heating to the evaporator 4; and a controller 11 for controlling the heating amount adjuster 9 until the water level of the evaporator 4 reaches a preset position due to variation of the heating amount to the evaporator 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
