Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of forcedly opening a downstream-side valve even if the downstream-side valve is closed fixedly by freezing.SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system 101, an outlet integration valve 181 is configured in such a manner that, in the case where a pressure at a valve upstream side is positive, the pressure acts in a valve opening direction. When the system is started up, a controller 201 opens an inlet encapsulation valve 174 and closes a bypass valve 191 and the outlet integration valve 181. When the outlet integration valve 181 is opened at a small aperture C in a state where a stack pressure is made rise by actuating a compressor 172, the controller makes a fixed closing discrimination that, in the case where the stack pressure is not reduced, it is discriminated that the outlet integration valve 181 is closed fixedly and, in the case where the stack pressure is reduced, it is discriminated that the outlet integration valve 181 is not closed fixedly. If it is discriminated in the fixed closing discrimination that the outlet integration valve is closed fixedly, the stack pressure is made rise further by increasing the quantity of air to be supplied from the compressor 172, and the fixed closing discrimination is made again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
