Abstract:
To improve stability of a power generation state of a fuel cell in a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A reformer 2, which generates hydrogen gas by reforming hydrocarbon contained in exhaust gas from an engine 1, is interposed in an exhaust passage 14 of the engine 1. A fuel cell 3 is provided to generate power by using, as fuel, the hydrogen gas thus generated by the reformer 2. An off-gas recirculation passage 5 is provided to recirculate off-gas from the fuel cell 3 into an intake system of the engine 1. An off-gas control valve 4 is provided to control an amount of the off-gas which passes through the off-gas recirculation passage 5. A control device 29 is provided to adjust an opening of the off-gas control valve 4 in accordance with a temperature in the reformer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
