Title:
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3202009
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank system for preventing evaporation of a liquid fuel within a liquid fuel tank for a fuel cell, more particularly to provide a liquid hydrogen tank system that efficiently prevents escape of fuel during the stop of a driving motor.
SOLUTION: A freezer 12 is provided in a liquid hydrogen tank 3 and a cold head 11 of the freezer 12 is mounted on a vapor phase part of the tank. A hydrogen gas pipeline 8 is provided to supply a hydrogen gas, which is generated in the vapor phase part, to the fuel cell 2 and to freeze the inside of the hydrogen tank by driving the freezer using the generated power, whereby evaporation of the liquid fuel within the liquid tank can be suppressed.
