Title:
FUEL CELL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3918757
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the system efficiency of a fuel cell system by lowering the intake-air temperature of an air electrode, decreasing the capacity of a cooling device or eliminating the cooling device itself, and increasing energy recovery volume recovered from the exhaust air of the air electrode.
SOLUTION: A compressor 6 compresses air taken from an atmospheric air intake 5. High-temperature air compressed is cooled with an air-cooled heat exchanger 7 and a water-cooled heat exchanger 8 to supply it to the air electrode 9. Exhaust of the air electrode 9, after being heated by the air-cooled heat exchanger 7, swells while rotating and driving a swelling machine 10. The swelling machine 10 rotated and driven rotates and drives a generator 18 to transduce expansion energy of the exhaust into electric power and recover it.
