To prevent a hydrogen detector detecting hydrogen contained in the off-gas exhausted at an oxygen electrode of a fuel cell from condensation.
A hydrogen detector 12 is mounted to a cathode off-gas piping 11B through which the off-gas exhausted from the fuel cell 11 flows, and a desiccator 13 is arranged between an air exhaust port 11b of the fuel cell 11 and the hydrogen detector 12. A bypass-pipe 23, detouring the desiccator 13 between the air exhaust port 11b of the fuel cell 11 and the hydrogen detector 12, is connected to the cathode off-gas piping 11B. A part of the off-gas exhausted from the fuel cell 11 is made to flow through the bypass-pipe 23, and mixed to the off-gas exhausted from the desiccator 13, and the mixed off-gas is supplied to the hydrogen detector 12.
