Abstract:
To adequately perform water level-adjustment control and water supply control by a simple and low-cost structure.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a quality-modification unit for modifying, by water vapor, a material gas into a modification gas and supplying the modification gas to a fuel cell; a vaporizing unit for vaporizing water to supply to the quality-modification unit; a water tank; a water pipe connected to the vaporizing unit and the water tank; a water pump for sending water in the water tank to the vaporizing unit through the water pipe; a combustion unit for heating, by combustion, the quality-modification unit and the vaporizing unit; a flow rate sensor provided at a predetermined position downstream of the water pump in the water pipe; and a controller. The controller can execute: water level-adjustment control arranged to drive the water pump and stop driving the water pump in response to the change of the flow rate sensor from a non-detection mode of the sensor being not allowed to detect a flow rate to a detection mode of being allowed to detect the flow rate; and water supply control arranged to drive the water pump by means of feedback control so that the flow rate detected by the flow rate sensor becomes a target flow rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
