To prevent formation of cracks or the like in a bent part of a resin-made intermediate plate, and formation of power generation defect due to disturbance or the like of gas distribution flow in power generation operation in a fuel cell having three-layered flat separator.
The bent part of a cooling medium flow passage side of the resin intermediate plate 13 of a flat separator comprised of laminating both plates 12, 14 of a cathode side and an anode side, and the resin-made intermediate plate 13 which is pinched between these both plates 12, 14, and the cooling medium flow passage 18 is made R-shaped (R-shaped angle part 51 is installed). When temperature rises in the separator, by suppressing concentration of shear stress in the bent part generated in an interface of both plates 12, 14 of the cathode side and the anode side with the resin-made intermediate plate 13, formation of the cracks or the like and gas leak are prevented.
