Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel composition that is obtained by mixing light cycle oil with water and can be used in a diesel engine without a pilot injection device, and a ship that has a low emission amount of nitrogen oxide.SOLUTION: The fuel composition is formed by adding gas liquefied oil and water to light cycle oil and emulsifying the light cycle oil. Further, in a ship 10, the fuel composition is used as a fuel for a diesel engine 12. Also, the ship 10 comprises: a fresh water tank 15, a LCO tank 13 and a GTL tank 14 for storing water, light cycle oil and gas liquefied oil, respectively; and a mixer 16 for producing a fuel composition by mixing water, light cycle oil and gas liquefied oil supplied from the respective tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
