PURPOSE: To drive an auxiliary facility stably by keeping engine speed constant when auxiliary motive power is taken out.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel control device for a gas engine has an auxiliary motive power taking out part 26 to take out a part of engine output as driving force of an auxiliary facility, a mixer 3 to mix gas fuel and intake air together in the prescribed ratio and an opening and closing means 13 for a bypass passage to introduce the intake air by bypassing the mixer 3, and also has a means 11 to supply gas fuel supplemetally, an exhaust air-fuel ratio detecting means 23 arranged in an exhaust system, a means 21 to detect engine speed and a means A to control a supply quantity of auxiliary fuel so that the detecting air-fuel ratio becomes constant when auxiliary motive power is taken out as well as to control a bypass air quantity so that the engine speed becomes constant.
