Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase operating performance in rapid acceleration, high opening low speed operation, and slow acceleration.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel control method for carburetor is provided with a duty control circuit 30 which opens a control valve intermittently while varying a duty ratio by opening fuel increasing paths 20 and 21 branched from fuel flow paths 17 and 18 into an air intake path 2 through an increasing jet, arranging a control valve 22 to control opening and closing in the fuel increasing paths, and inputting an engine speed and throttle valve opening. Also, as an open pattern of the control valve by the duty control circuit, a duty ratio of 100% area A which is surrounded by a specified medium and low speed areas within opening areas from the opening at which the optimum throttle opening is set in the area at least 1/2 or more to the full openings set up. Then multiple areas B and C are set so that the low opening side and high speed side in the area A are surrounded in order apart from each other so that the duty ratio is lowered in order and smoothly as they go to the lower opening and high speed sides. Thus fuel increase is controlled.
