Title:
FUEL CONTROLLER FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01147133
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at the extension of a fuel-cut area as controlling the occurrence of a torque shock by lowering the extent of fuel supply reset engine speed at the time of a downward slope as a down grade is larger, in a device which performs a fuel cut at deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A detected value of a downward slope sensor 25 constituted by an acceleration sensor detecting the acceleration of a vehicle is inputted into a control unit 20 together with each detected value out of an intake air quantity sensor 17, an idle switch 21 and an engines speed sensor 24. The control unit 20 performs a fuel cut when a throttle valve is fully closed and engine speed is more than the specified one, and when the engine speed becomes less than its reset speed, it reopens a fuel supply. When an engine and a driving wheel is in a state of being connected, the reset engine speed is lowered, insomuch that a down grade is larger on the basis of a detected value of the downward slope sensor 25.
