To achieve smooth operation of an engine by a flat diaphragm and a flow control valve lever in fuel controlling for a carburetor used in an internal combustion engine.
This fuel controlling system for the carburetor used in the internal combustion engine includes a flexible and flat diaphragm which has a circumference engaged with the carburetor body. A fuel-controlling chamber is formed between the body and a first side of the diaphragm, and a standard chamber is formed between the body and a second side of the diaphragm. A flow control valve is provided being abutted against the first side of the diaphragm. When fuel pressure in the fuel-controlling chamber is smaller than standard pressure in the standard chamber, the diaphragm bends into the fuel-controlling chamber to open the flow control valve. When the fuel pressure in the fuel-controlling chamber is equal to the standard pressure in the standard chamber, the diaphragm returns to the standard position and is bent into the fuel-metering chamber, to close the flow control valve.
