Abstract:
To provide an automotive fuel converting system, in which a wide range of automotive fuel is applicable, in which the automotive fuel can be safely vaporized, and in which fuel efficiency is improved, while emission is reduced.
This automotive fuel converting system is provided with an air intake mechanism, an injector nozzle, a heater 22, and a catalyst 24. The injector nozzle injects automotive fuel into the air intake mechanism to generate fuel/air mixture. The heater 22 vaporizes the fuel/air mixture, and the catalyst 24 takes out hydrogen from molecules of automotive fuel. Mixed gas of air, automotive fuel, and free hydrogen, that is suitable for combustion in an internal combustion engine is thus generated.
