Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cooling device for a miniaturized outboard motor.
SOLUTION: The outboard motor is disposed with a crankshaft of a water cooling type four cycle engine 23 approximately vertically and intake manifolds communicated with respective cylinders formed in a cylinder head vertically in the side of a cylinder block, guide fuel in a fuel tank once to a vapor separator 44 and feed it to the engine 23 using a fuel injector 47. The vapor separator 44 is disposed with a high pressure fuel pump 43H to pump the fuel to the fuel injector 47 via a fuel hose 48Hb, a branch part 58a is provided in a midway between the high pressure fuel pump 43H and the fuel injector 47 and a fuel cooler 60 for guiding the cooling water for cooling the engine and cooling the fuel is disposed on a way to the return fuel hose 48Hc extending from the branch part 58a to the vapor separator 44.
