A navigation device obtains the intersection information on each of intersections of an object road as object road information about the object road and weights an estimated value of the fuel consumption during the stop of the vehicle and an estimated value of the fuel consumption during the passing of the vehicle on the basis of the object road information. Thus, the navigation device estimates the fuel consumption when the vehicle passes each of the intersections of the object road. Further, the navigation device obtains the traffic information of the object road, the weight of the vehicle and gradient information to estimate the driving fuel cost or the fuel consumption when the vehicle travels on the object road.
