To provide a method for deoxidizing hydrocarbon fuel by using an inexpensive system having an efficient size and weight which does not need comparatively large machinery for generating vacuum on one side of a comparatively thin film, and also to provide a system using the same.
A fuel system of an energy conversion apparatus has a deoxidizing system having a porous membrane. The deoxidizing system has an oxygen receiving channel separated from a fuel channel by the porous membrane. In the system, the capillary force countervails the pressure difference between the both sides of the membrane and prevents leakage of the fuel, and the difference of oxygen concentration between the both sides of the membrane allows the deoxidation of the fuel through the porous membrane.
