Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce, in a fuel shut-off valve, strange noise in closing an opening in the fuel shut-off valve.SOLUTION: A fuel shut-off valve 1 comprises a second valve mechanism 50 which comprises a second float 54 and an air chamber 55S, and opens and closes a second seal face 30a of casings 20, 30 which provide communication between the inside and the outside of a fuel tank FT, by making the second float 54 float and sink by the buoyancy of gas in the air chamber 55S. The second valve mechanism 50 further comprises a valve element 51 which has a disk shape formed with an opening 52 at the center for receiving the second float 54 and seals the second seal face 30a. The valve element 51 includes a seat part 51e which contacts with the second seal face 30a in a state that the valve element 51 seals the second seal face 30a, a surface 51a which defines the opening 52 and contacts with the second float 54, and a support part 51f which extends vertically downward at the outer peripheral side of the disk and contacts with the second float 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
