Excessive fuel in the fuel feed passage 37 is relieved from the fuel relief flow passage 38 connected to a pump cam chamber 44 parallel to a sliding part lubricating oil pathway 45. Since excessive fuel can be relieved to the pump cam chamber 44 close to the fuel feed passage 37, the workability of the fuel relief flow passage 38 can be improved. In addition, a throttle 39 is provided in the fuel relief flow passage 38, and the relief flow rate is regulated. Flow-in of the fuel in the fuel feed passage 37 into the pump cam chamber 44 can be prevented, reduction of the fuel feed into a pressurizing chamber 23 can be prevented.
