Title:
FUEL FEEDER OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3879507
Kind Code:
B2

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel feeder capable of promoting atomization of a fuel when the fuel is injected, and improving the exhaust gas purifying performance and the fuel economy performance.
SOLUTION: The fuel feeder of an internal combustion engine comprises at least one cylinder formed in a cylinder block, a fuel injection valve 10 to inject the fuel in the cylinder or on an intake passage communicated with the cylinder, and a fuel passage to feed the fuel to the fuel injection valve 10. A part of the fuel passage is formed as a delivery pipe 2 embedded in the cylinder head coupled with an upper part of the cylinder block, and the fuel injection valve 10 is intersected with the delivery pipe 2 and receives the fuel from the side at the intersection. Seal members 116a and 116b are disposed in a joining part of the delivery pipe 2 with the fuel injection valve 10.
