Abstract:

PURPOSE: To amplify the negative pressure of a Venturi part at a single barrel, by providing the Venturi part in a fluid passage which has a prescribed flow rate ratio to a fluid passage which has a flow rate detector for measuring a portion of sucked air and by providing a negative pressure detector for the throat of the Venturi part.

CONSTITUTION: An upper disc 15a and a lower disc 15b are secured at the inlet port of a throttle body 12 so that the discs 15a, 15b are located at a distance from each other and a suction passage 16 which extends to an annular air cleaner 1 is defined. A Karman sensor 14 is provided in one of two small fluid passages 17, 18 which are opposed to each other in the suction passage 16 and have almost the same flow rate, and a Venturi part 19 is provided in the other. The negative pressure of the Venturi part 19 and that at a throttle valve 13 almost in its entirely closed position are applied to an exhaust gas recycle valve 7. A fuel feeder is composed of a control circuit 10 for an injection valve 11, a power source 20 and a flow rate detection circuit 21 which heats the hot wire 14d of the Karman sensor 14 to apply the resistance change of the wire as an air flow rate signal Sa.
