Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fuel feeding device which is constituted to produce emulsion of water and fuel oil and besides is simple and small.
CONSTITUTION: A water injector 107 is located in a fuel piping 13 through which fuel oil is fed to the fuel feed pump of a diesel engine 1 having a fuel injection valve 3, a fuel injection pump 5, and a fuel feed pump 7. Water fed from a water tank 101 and a water pump 105 is directly injected to a fuel piping 13. An amount of water injected from the water injector is controlled by a control circuit 10. Water injected in fuel is atomized by the fuel feed pump and the fuel injection pump and produces uniform emulsion fuel and injected in the engine through the fuel injection valve.
