Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide air, etc., which tends to accumulate on a downward surface of a cover to an air bleeding port by inclining the downward surface of the cover built in an upper part of a filter case upward to the air bleeding port.
SOLUTION: A downward surface 4 of a cover 2 is inclined down toward an air bleeding port 5 to guide air, etc., which tends to accumulate on the downward surface 4 of the cover 2 built in an upper part of a filter case 1. In this constitution, as air, etc., contacting the downward surface 4 of the cover 2 is guided to the air bleeding port 5 along inclination, it is possible to certainly extract air, etc., from the air bleeding port 5 and to eliminate a defect that air is taken away from a fuel filter with fuel. Consequently, when this fuel filter is installed on a diesel engine, air, etc., hardly intrudes into a cylinder of a fuel injection pump, and a harmful effect of insufficient output, engine stall, starting impossibility are eliminated.
