To provide a fuel filter capable of preventing a fuel from leaking in disassembly.
This fuel filter 1 comprises a case 20 having an internal space 100 storing an element 40, a cap 10 sealing the element 40 in the internal space 100, a fuel discharge port 11 communicating with the internal space 100, on which a hose 30 is mounted, a fastener nut 21 threaded to the cap 10, and capable of fixing the cap 10 to the case 20 by rotating it in a first direction and separating the cap 10 from the case 20 by rotating it in a second direction, and a lock piece 14 capable of being positioned in a first state in which the fastener nut 21 can be rotated and a second state in which the fastener nut 21 cannot be rotated. In the inserted state of the hose 30 into the fuel discharge port 11, the lock piece 14 is positioned in the second state. In the extracted state of the hose 30 from the fuel discharge port 11, the lock piece 14 is positioned in the first state.
