Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain solid fuel for a gas generating agent having an easily controllable high pressure index by using a specified copolymer and a specified polymer in combination.
SOLUTION: A base is composed of a copolymer (A) of 3,3-bis(azidomethyl)oxetane with 3-nitratomethyl-3-methyloxetane represented by the formula [where (n) is 4-10 and (m) is 2-10] and a glycidyl azide polymer (B). The weight ratio between the components A, B is preferably 10:90 to 90:10. A crosslinking agent and a curing agent are added to the base, a curing catalyst is further added if necessary and they are vacuum-mixed. The resultant mixture is cast in a prescribed container and cured by heating to produce the objective solid fuel for a gas generating agent.
