To realize an earthquake-proof fuel handling machine that is free of influence on a structure of a fuel handling machine main body and eliminates the need of work such as additional modification.
A fuel handling machine comprises: a bridge travel rail 6 laid across a reactor pool 4; a bridge 2 that has bridge wheels 7 and travels on the bridge travel rail 6; a trolley rail 8 laid on an upper surface of the bridge 2; a trolley 3 that has trolley wheels, travels on the trolley rail 8 and has a gripper 9 for handling fuel; and a laminated rubber 15 that is provided between the bridge travel rail 6 and a surface with the bridge travel rail 6 laid thereon and serves as a seismic isolation mechanism having seismic isolation behavior against vibration in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the bridge travel rail 6.
