Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform effective separation of an exhaust component and lubricating oil from each other, by a method wherein the internal space of the case of a coupling mechanism for a governor is formed so as to be utilized as an introduction passage for lubricating oil mist a special lubricating oil feed device is provided. CONSTITUTION:An engine is formed with a pair of cylinder block units 3 and upper and lower crank cases 4 and 5. In this case, a unit injector 20 is mounted to a cylinder head part 8 of each unit 3. A lever mechanism 50 being the output part of a governor 30 is coupled to the unit injector 20 through a control shaft 51 and a link mechanism 52. The governor 30 is situated between a pair of banks 2 of the engine, and a case 56 containing coupling mechanisms 51 and 52 is secured to a cylinder head part 8 and a governor case 72. Further, a passage 71 to feed lubricating oil with the internal space of the case 65 is formed, and a blazer 76 is provided in juxtaposition with the governor 30.
