Abstract:

To suppress torque shocks in a start of combustion when an engine is restarted in a hybrid vehicle or the like.

When a diesel engine having a compression pressure changing means such as a throttle valve of the hybrid vehicle or the like is restarted, cranking is started at low compression pressure, the compression pressure is increased after an engine revolution speed has reached a compression pressure restoration speed, injection is started as the injection pressure of a fuel injection valve reaches injection start pressure or higher, and pilot injection timing in the injection is controlled to an advanced side as the compression pressure is lower, and controlled to a retarded side as the compression pressure is gradually restored.
