Abstract:

To reduce fluctuation in fuel injection quantity and increase a dynamic range of a fuel injection valve.

This fuel injection control device includes a fuel injection device 1 having a solenoid, a means for detecting the operation state of an internal combustion engine, and a fuel injection control means 27 for adjusting a pulse width of a fuel injection pulse supplied to the fuel injection device based on the detected operation state of the internal combustion engine. The fuel injection control means includes a means for supplying high valve opening voltage to the solenoid over a prescribed period and supplying a valve opening current based on the fuel injection pulse width, and a means for applying low valve closing voltage to the solenoid and supplying a holding current to the solenoid for holding the valve open state, after the valve opening current reaches a prescribed current value. A peak value of the valve opening current when the high valve opening voltage is supplied to the solenoid over the prescribed period is compared with a preset target value, and the high valve opening voltage is controlled so that the peak value matches the target value.
