Abstract:

To provide a fuel injection control device that can prevent injection from taking place all at once, which is supposed to be carried out in a plurality of times.

The fuel injection control device includes: an injection commander for setting, based on the target injection state that is set according to an operation state of an internal combustion engine, an injection command signal indicating an injection start timing and an injection end timing, and outputting the injection command signal to the fuel injection valve; a determiner S31 for determining, based on the fuel pressure waveform detected by a fuel pressure sensor, whether the period of interval is insufficient, which is considered insufficient if the period of interval between injections in multi-step-injection is less than a predetermined time or zero; and a corrector S33 for correcting, when determined as insufficient, the injection command signal corresponding to the requested target injection state so that the period of interval gets longer.
