Abstract:
To appropriately determine injection completion timing by using a fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: A fuel injection system includes: a common rail 11 for holding high-pressure fuel in the pressure-accumulating state; a fuel pump 12 for pressure-feeding fuel to the common rail 11; a fuel injection valve 30 for injecting the high-pressure fuel that is held in the pressure accumulating state in the common rail 11; and a fuel pressure sensor 40 for detecting fuel pressure in a fuel passage from the common rail 11 to a nozzle hole 35 of the fuel injection valve 30. An ECU 50 includes: a fuel pressure acquisition section for acquiring the fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure sensor 40; a differential value calculation section for differentiating the fuel pressure acquired by the fuel pressure acquisition section to calculate a fuel pressure differential value; and a completion timing calculation section for based on the fuel pressure differential value, calculating injection completion timing at which the fuel injection by the fuel injection valve 30 is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
