Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make synchronous injection compatible with non-synchronous injection in a fuel injection system using a plunger pump.
SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device comprises an injection module 10 to inject fuel by the reciprocating motion of a plunger 21, and a control means 40 to control the synchronous injection to inject the fuel synchronous to the rotation of an engine 2 and the non-synchronous injection to correct the injected fuel according to an operating condition. The control means 40 determines relative timing between the synchronous injection and the non- synchronous injection, and an injection pattern that is obtained by adjusting injection timing between the non-synchronous injection and the synchronous injection is set by adding both injection times or delaying one injection start timing at predetermined timing based on determination information. Optimum fuel injection can be thereby obtained.
