Abstract:
An electronic control unit (ECU) (26) determines the target premixing period based on the engine operating conditions, and detects an actual premixing period. The ECU then adjusts the fuel premixing period so that the actual premixing period approaches the target premixing period. An independent claim is also included for a fuel injection control method.
