In a case when an operating state detected by an operating state detection means having an ECU is in a specific steady state, that is, free from the change of the fuel pressure mode, and the variation of an accelerator opening or the requested amount of injection is within a specific range, average values P1, P3, P4, P2 are respectively calculated from the total sum of the fuel pressure sampled at fuel injection periods T1, T3, T4, T2 by a pressure sensor, and the fuel injection period T4 of a fuel injection valve of a #4 cylinder is corrected on the basis of the average value P1 of the fuel pressure calculated at the time of a #1 cylinder (before 2 injection period).
