Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide more proper fuel injection control based on as up-to-date fuel injection information as possible on an optimum fuel injection controller for internal combustion engine and an optimum fuel injection control method for internal combustion engine, used in an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with fuel injection valves 8 for respective cylinders, a fuel injection information computing means 103 for computing fuel injection information periodically based on the operating conditions of an engine, and a fuel injection value drive means 34 for operating the fuel injection valves for respective operating cycles of the engine based on the fuel injection information. This controller is also provided with a temporary setting means 110 for temporarily-setting the fuel injection information obtained by the fuel injection information computing means 103 as the fuel injection information in an arbitrary operating cycle at the particular time before operating the fuel injection valves 8 in the arbitrary operating cycle, and a correcting means 111 for correcting the fuel injection information temporarily-set based on the fuel injection information obtained by the fuel injection information computing means 103 at a correcting time after a particular time.
