Title:
FUEL INJECTION CONTROLLING APPARATUS FOR MULTI-CYLINDER ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5912137
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the fuel adjusting range, by providing a means for producing a signal detecting at least one or more ignited cylinder, and effecting two-group injection or independent injection by detecting the ignited cylinder or cylinders from the output signal of said means and ignition signals.

CONSTITUTION: An injection controlling apparatus of this invention comprises a control means 13 which is furnished with the primary-side signal of an ignition coil 10, an ignited cylinder detecting signal produced by a trigger detecting means 20 attached to a high-tension cord 19 that is extended from a distributor 6 to cylinders, and engine condition signals given from an air-flow meter 2, a sensor for detecting the temperature of cooling water, etc. By the control means 13, fuel injection valves 14W17 of all cylinders are set into operation simultaneously at the time of starting an engine, while at the time of ordinary operation of the engine, control is executed for each of the cylinders. That is, the control means 12 incorporates therein a counting means for counting ignition signals and reset when a cylinder discriminating signal is produced and operates the injection valves 14W17 of corresponding cylinders according to the result of judgement of a required count value.
