Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device for an engine 1 in which an injector 6 is provided for injecting fuel toward an intake port 31, for suppressing the accumulation of deposit near an injection hole even when the temperature of a nozzle 60 of the injector 6 becomes high after the stop of the engine.SOLUTION: The fuel injection device includes an introduction passage (for example, an outside air introduction pipe 7) for introducing outside air to move toward the nozzle 60 of the injector 6, and an on-off valve 71 for opening/closing it. It further includes estimating means (Steps ST2, ST3) for estimating the temperature of the nozzle 60 after the stop of the engine 1 when stopped, and outside air introduction control means (Steps ST4-ST6) for closing a throttle valve 39 to make a pressure in the intake port 31 negative and for opening the on-off valve 71 to make the introduction passage introduce the outside air when an estimated value Tstop for the temperature of the nozzle 60 by the estimating means is not smaller than a predetermined value Tstop1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
