In an embodiment, when exhaust gas temperature is activation temperature of an exhaust emission control catalyst or higher, time of electricity carry to the heater can be shortened since unburned composition in exhaust gas is eliminated, when exhaust gas temperature is lower than activation temperature of the exhaust emission control catalyst, time of electricity carry to the heater is shortened instead of extending the same, fuel pressure is made high and fuel injected from the fuel injection valve is atomized to suppress emission of unburned composition.
