A base part of an injector 13 is connected to a delivery pipe 14. The injector 13 is provided with a fuel passage returning fuel in the delivery pipe 14 after circulating to a vicinity of an injection hole 45 formed at a tip part of a valve body 42. The fuel passage and the fuel injection hole 45 is shut off by a needle valve 49 to enable fuel to be always circulated to the vicinity of the injection hole 45, and the fuel passage and the injection hole 45 are communicated to enable part of fuel flowing in the fuel passage to be injected to the combustion chamber 11 from the injection hole 45.
