Abstract:
To reduce the occurrence of blow-by fuel in scavenging while promoting the gasification of fuel by ensuring a sufficient fuel injection period.
A fuel injection device includes a first fuel injection valve 20 for injecting fuel into one of two intake ports 8 provided in each cylinder 4, and a second fuel injection valve (not shown). The first fuel injection valve 20 is mounted such that the injection direction thereof points to the bottom side of a combustion chamber 12 more than the injection direction of the second fuel injection valve. In addition, the proportion of fuel injection from the first fuel injection valve 20, at least in the scavenging area, is set more than that of the second fuel injection valve.
