To provide a fuel injection device for internal combustion engine having a function to heat the fuel by a fuel injection valve for enhancement of the fuel gasifying characteristics whereby a sufficient fuel heating effect is obtained using a simple configuration without bringing about a complicated, a large-sized or a cost-increased structure of the fuel injection valve itself.
A driver circuit 9 for a solenoid 5 of a fuel injection valve is composed of a control circuit 9A and a power supply circuit 9D in which a power transistor 9B as a connecting/disconnecting means on-off controlled with the control signals given by the circuit 9A and a voltage inverter 9C changeover controlled with control signals given by the control circuit 9A and supplying the drive current and a current oppositely directed to the drive current to the solenoid 5 upon inverting the voltage to be impressed on the solenoid 5 are interposed. Owing to the supply of the oppositely directed current to the solenoid 5, the solenoid 5 is heated in the non-fuel injection range and thereby the fuel is heated.
