To provide a fuel injection device for a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine, efficiently boosting different kinds of fuels and supplying them to fuel injection valves.
This fuel injection device 20 includes: the fuel injection valves 25 provided to every cylinders 2 injecting GTL fuel and light fuel oil; a fuel pump 21 pressuring the GTL fuel; pressure boosting mechanisms 26 provided for every cylinders 2, having first pressure chambers 81a introducing the GTL fuel boosted by the fuel pumps 21 and boosting the light fuel oil in time before fuel injection timing comes by using pressure of the GTL fuel introduced into the first pressure chambers 81a; connection passages 90A to 90D connecting the first pressure chambers 81a of the two pressure boosting mechanisms 26 having mutually different light fuel oil boosting timing; and operating valves 91A to 91D opening/closing the connection passages 90A to 90D in conjunction with light fuel oil boosting operation by the pressure boosting mechanisms 26.
