Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine capable of corresponding to various kinds of fuel.SOLUTION: A diesel engine is provided with two fuel systems: a main fuel system and a sub fuel system. The main fuel system injects fuel by increasing fuel pressure according to a crank angle of an internal combustion engine, and the sub fuel system injects fuel with pressure higher than the injection pressure of the main fuel system in a period where fuel pressure increases at an early stage of a fuel injection period. The main fuel system and the sub fuel system have a common fuel injection valve 26, and are made confluent at the upstream side of the fuel injection valve 26.
