To provide a fuel injection device capable of injecting a high temperature fuel even immediately after start of an internal combustion engine by efficiently heating a fuel to be injected from a fuel injection hole instantaneously and capable of instantaneously switching injection of a heated fuel and injection of a non-heated fuel.
A heater with a plurality of heat generation elements arranged along the fuel channel is disposed in contact with a fuel channel formed in a nozzle body. The heat generation elements constituting the heater can control heat generation and non-heat generation independently so that the fuel in the fuel channel is heated from the downstream side close to an orifice for a volume equal to the fuel injection amount to be injected for the next time according to the operation state of the internal combustion engine.
